I’m Eden, an actor and storyteller, who does lots of other silly jobs.

When did you become members of Lilac?
I heard about it in August 2011, and became a full member in November.

What size property will you be living in?
I will be living in a one-bedroom flat. Furnished by www.anygoodtoyou.com

Why do you want to live in Lilac?
I’m really excited about the sense of community we’re building between members even though we haven’t even moved in yet, I feel this can only grow. Also the chance to live in a home that will make as little impact on the environment as we can, can only be a good thing. Also the allotments and somewhere to hang washing out is a big draw.
What do you think the best thing about living in Lilac will be? There are too many things to pick one, but the chance to move out of my draughty, noisy, back to back rented terrace house, is defiantly one big bonus. And the gardens, and allotment are a big draw. As is the common house and everyone who’s living there. Really the best thing will be the other people involved.

Anything else you want to say
I think the LILAC model of building and living is such an amazing concept, I’d like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to bring it to fruitions before I’d even heard of it, and hope this is just the first to be build in the country, because if I move out I’ll want to move to another LILAC somewhere else.

There are 20 households in Lilac. Eleven brave households are profiled below.
