Uddyotani I’m Uddyotani, I live with Laura and Hamish. I’m 47. I’ve done different jobs -  just now I work for a small charity running a Buddhist Centre in Leeds.

Laura I currently work as a full time teacher

Both: We will live in a 3 bed house, and our son Hamish will be with us when he’s home from drama school. We’ve also got a dog (Beattie).

Laura - Why do you want to live in Lilac?: I look forward to the challenge and support of a community that is committed to trying to live more justly. I’m excited that people of all ages will be living together.

Uddyotani - Why do you want to live in Lilac?: I’m interested in finding out what co-housing means in practice. I like the idea of doing something positive, for ourselves and for the environment, and being part of making change happen.

Laura – best thing about living in Lilac will be: Having less house to clean. Fun in the common house.

Uddyotani – best thing about living in Lilac will be: Creating a beautiful space. Having a vegetable garden on my doorstep.
